Ways to Lower the Risk of Heart Diseases and Improve Health

There are several ways advocated by the American Heart Association to enhance wellness and specially lower the risk of heart ailments. Listed below are   “Life’s Simple 7” measures:

  1. Get busy

Engage in regular workouts. Create a regular with 5 days of at least 30 minutes of moderate aerobic activity.   For an added plus, the routine can be altered by you and devote 2 of those days to muscle-strengthening exercises.

  1. Control Cholesterol levels

Eat foods high in fiber and low in cholesterol, saturated and trans-fats. Maintaining a healthy weight and physical activity also helps this. Also make sure you keep up with routine with check ups and screening tests.

  1. Healthy eating

  1. Blood pressure control

Get your blood pressure checked and follow physicians advice if you’ve got elevated blood pressure to keep it in limits. Avoid alcohol smoking and anxiety also reduce salt consumption in case you’re having hypertension.

  1. Maintain regular weight

Steer clear of both extremes: obese and underweight. A small shift in weight can bring health benefits.

  1. Control blood glucose levels

Sugar is not needed for our body. Stay away from sugar of any kind and anything  containing it, as it’s toxic to your own body — including sodas, desserts, candy, etc..

  1. Stop Smoking

This one thing is responsible for an incredible amount of harm to a lot of their human body’s systems. Smoking to avoid damaging yourself!
